Whittemore-Prescott High School Honor Roll

The Honor Roll is determined by a student's nine-week grades.  To qualify a student must earn a 3.000 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.000 scale.  The GPA will be determined by dividing the total points earned for the marking period by the number of classes taken.

Iosco RESA Career and Technical Education Center

 “Professional Student of the Month”

 

The Iosco RESA Career and Technical Education Center would like to take this opportunity to recognize Celia Earl as “Professional Student of the Month” for September 2014. Celia is the daughter of Mark and Lisa Earl and is a senior at Whittemore-Prescott High School.

Celia is a second year student in the Health Science Program where she is an outstanding student demonstrating leadership, compassion, work ethics, and teamwork to her fellow classmates. Celia is a pleasure to have in the classroom as she is a self-motivated student. Last

year, Celia competed at the regional and state Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) competitions and qualified for the national competition. Celia also attended work site at the Iosco Medical Care Facility and she will be entering the Certified Nursing Assistant Program in the near future. At her local high school Celia is involved in the National Honor Society, Family Careers Community Leaders of American, Students against Destructive Decisions, Track, and is the Student Council President.  To be nominated for “Professional Student of the Month”, a student must have outstanding work ethics, no absences or tardies for the month, no discipline issues and at least a B grade point average. Iosco RESA Tech Center offers the following programs for 11th and 12th grade students: Aircraft Maintenance, Automotive Technology, Food/Tourism & Hospitality Management, Health Science, and Power Mechanics. Stacie is the daughter of Henry and Lisa Davis and is a senior at Whittemore-Prescott High School.  Stacie is a second year student in the Food/Tourism & Hospitality Management Program. Stacie is a hard worker and is working toward her Baking & Pastry Degree. She plans to attend college to achieve this goal. She has strong leadership skills and loves to work with people. She can always be counted on to lend a helping hand with class events during and after school. At her local high school, Stacie is involved in Family, Community, and Career Leaders of America (FCCLA), Knowledge Bowl, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Track & Field, Drama Club, and Friends of Rachel a Rachel’s Challenge group.  To be nominated for “Professional Student of the Month”, a student must have outstanding work ethics, no absences or tardies for the month, no discipline issues and at least a B grade point average.
